Foggy Maine Wedding, II

Some brides just have an eye for details. I think this bride is one of them. She and her vendors did such a fabulous job of carrying the color palette throughout the entire event, and the little touches – napkin treatments, ceremony decor, groom style – really tie everything together so nicely! I love the different types of flowers that were used. Using a somewhat monochromatic palette but mixing it up with texture is so chic! Especially with a bright palette like this one. And I must say I love the khaki suits!

Still totally loving the fog at this wedding too! The lighting is just perfect for photos – not a squint or shadow in sight!

Another great thing about this wedding from a behind the scenes perspective – this couple chose to bring some of their vendors to their Maine wedding from the Boston area. Don’t get me wrong, there are *many* lovely vendors in the Maine area (some of my favorites are based in Maine actually!), but it’s always a good thing to consider no matter your venue – don’t let your location keep you from hiring the vendors you love! You’d be surprised how many vendors love to travel outside of their home base!

WELL, I just loved this wedding!
Not just because we did the flowers… but everything about it! When we arrived, with those incredible bouquets in hand, the brides’ face just beamed! She was wild about orange, and wanted everything to be bright and sunny…however the fog was a photographers dream, everything just popped against the blue gray skies! It was truly beautiful. The setting was quintessential Maine at it’s best.Heather’s attitude about her wedding was as continuous as her smile… “I just want everyone to have a fun, happy day.” The only element thicker than the fog that day, was the love and intense happiness that filled the air.No vendor can provide that experience.
